has gloss	heb: הפיגוע במסגד אל-עסכריה היה פיגוע טרור שהתרחש ב-22 בפברואר 2006 במסגד אל-עסכריה הקדוש לשיעים, הנמצא בעיר העיראקית סאמרא, כ-100 קילומטרים צפון-מערבית לבגדאד. בעקבות הפיגוע פרצו בעיראק מהומות אלימות בין סונים לשיעים, בשל העובדה שככל הנראה טרוריסטים סונים הם שהיו האחראים להתקפה. במהומות שאירעו בעקבות הפיגוע נהרגו כ-600 אנשים, והשתרר חשש כי בעיראק תפרוץ מלחמת אזרחים.
