He is arguably the breakout character. The movie is based on the same-titled novel by Victor Dotsenko. Created by Victor Dotsenko in 1980s, he is a main protagonist in the novels of other well-known russian writers: Yuri Nikitin, , , and others. Writing a novels about his adventures, Victor Dotsenko became the most published author in Russia, in 1995 , and the highest-paid writer. In the novels his character became familiar to many prominent russian politicians and officials. After that happens in fiction, all these people, became a personal friends of Dotsenko in reality (for example, Mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov). Dotsenko written 25 books with Govorkov as main protagonist or about the gaps in his fictional biography (for instance, Write to Mad). |
