has glosseng: Allar was a Palestinian Arab village in the District of Jerusalem. It was depopulated during the 1948 Palestine War on October 22, 1948 by the Har'el and Etzioni brigades of Operation ha-Har. It was located 17.5 km west of Jerusalem, overlooked a tributary of the Wadi al-Sarar. During the 1948 war, the village was defended by local militia and the Egyptian Army/Muslim Brotherhood Battalion.
