Plot When a young woman named Lauren, dies from complete organ failure, Dr. Alexx Woods believes she was murdered with an unknown poison. Her boyfriend, Ethan, who was going to propose to her, becomes the main suspect. Horatio and his team test everything in her apartment for any sort of poison. While Eric is questioning Ethan, Ethan stands up and then collapses. It is discovered that Lauren was poisoned by a deadly strain of E. coli. The team start by investigating where Lauren and Ethan last ate. Once there, they are directed to the farm where the produce came from. Ryan, Jesse, and Walter arrive at the farm but they get resistance from the person in charge. They still manage to test the crops and come up with nothing.
