It is also the longest song on the album. In it, Dylan recounts the conflicts between himself, Rotolo, and Rotolos sister Carla, who had initially been one of his most enthusiastic supporters. Dylan, when asked in 1985 if he regretted writing any song, replied of the song "I look back at that particular one and say...maybe I could have left that alone." |
