Baoen Temple (also known as Baoen Monastery) is a well-preserved fifteenth century Buddhist monastery complex located in northwestern Sichuan province, China. It was built by Wang Xi, a local chieftain, between 1440 and 1446 during Emperor Yingzongs reign (1427-64) in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
