has gloss	eng: Battlestar Galactica is a pair of dueling roller coasters at Universal Studios Singapore. This ride will be one of the most unique dueling coaster designs in the world. One half of the ride features an inverted roller coaster track in blue, and the other half features the traditional seated coaster track design in red. It will be the tallest dueling coaster in the world; tipping at 42.5m (140ft). The coaster trains will be launched from their stations at high speed instead of the traditional chain lift. Synchronous Linear Induction Motors (SLIM) will be used for high-acceleration speed during launching. In a similar style to the Dueling Dragons at Universal's Islands of Adventure, these coasters will feature several near collisions mere inches apart. Additionally, part of the ride will take place over a lagoon.
