| has gloss | eng: Busoga College Mwiri, often known simply as Mwiri, is a boarding school in Jinja District, Uganda which was founded in 1911 with the name of Balangira High School. As the name suggests, it was meant for only sons of kings and chiefs but this later changed to include the sons of all Ugandans. Many prominent Ugandans, including former president Milton Obote, attended Busoga College Mwiri. It has been one of the best performing schools in Uganda since colonial times. The headmaster today is Mr. John Mukubira, a former deputy head teacher of Jinja College and the deputy headmaster is Mr. Mugoya Mwondah Henry, former Head of Department Computer Studies at the school.
