has glosseng: CIBC 750 Lawrence is a two tower complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, built in the early 1980s and part of the head office operations outside of Commerce Court and the main quarters of CIBC Credit Card Services, including VISA call centres. The VISA call center is a member of the Steel Workers Union in Toronto. The VISA call center is the only unionized department in CIBC. It consists of two buildings, one 6 stories (West) and the other, 10 stories (East), built by Toronto-based firm Bregman + Hamann Architects (B+H) in 1981/. B+H is the same firm involved in renovations in 2001. The building, at one time owned by CIBC is now owned by commercial developer CB Richard Ellis since the late 1990s. It is located in Downsview across the street from Lawrence Square mall and a short walk to Lawrence West (TTC) station. The building was fire-damaged in 2001 on its west side due to a large fire at a housing development located directly to the west.
