has gloss	eng: Club Xanadu was a disco club located a block from the beach in Asbury Park, New Jersey from the late 1970s until the late 1980s. During the clubs successful life, many celebrity patrons frequented the club, and MTV hosted an event there. The club was also an early hangout for Bruce Springsteen before it changed format to dance music. Bruce Springsteen debuted his "Dancing in the Dark" video live at the club in the 1980s. Until 2008 it was a gay disco, popular with New Yorks male gay community who travel in to Asbury Park on budget vacations. The building is currently for sale.
