| has gloss | eng: The Darkweaver Legacy is a series of four fantasy novels by British author Mark Robson, the first book in the series was published in 2000 and the fourth and final book in 2003. The name refers to a important magical artifact in the books, made by a magician named Derrigan Darkweaver. His "legacy" is his amulet that was found by Earl Demarr in the first book, The Forging of the Sword. The series is a prelude to Marks second childrens series of books, the Imperial series, which unlike the first series focuses more on espionage than magic. Both series are set in the fictional countries of Thrandor and Shandar. In The Forging of the Sword Calvyns becomes an orphan and meets an old magician named Perdimonn, who agrees to teach him magic. He is forced to separate from His mentor when they meet up with Selkor. |
