He contributed initially to developing youth rugby union and rugby league, before returning to professional rugby coaching in 2001. He is currently working within the Super League of England whilst aiding the development of rugby league in Germany by holding the post Director of RL Deutschland where he has been actively helping the rugby clubs of Germany .
