An adaptation of the novel Marianne Dreams written by Catherine Storr, the serial deals with a young girl, the eponymous Marianne, whose drawings become the basis for dreams, and the dividing line between dreams and reality becomes all too thin. The novel was later adapted into a 1988 film, Paperhouse. |
