has gloss	eng: With the establishment of the South African Development Community (SADC), the flag of the organization came from the people of the member countries, with a competition from the member states the logo was amended to reflect the new acronym in the same style as used previously, in 1994 proposals stopped and in 1995 a new flag was chosen. The new flag has a Navy Blue field with a Green circle in the centre and SADC logo is in the middle of that green circle.
