has glosseng: The Flying Imams controversy (sometimes humorously referred to as sheiks on a plane, a reference to the movie Snakes on a Plane) is a controversy concerning the removal of six Muslim imams from US Airways Flight 300, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Phoenix, Arizona, at 6:30 p.m. on November 20, 2006. The removal of the imams was initiated when several passengers and crew members became alarmed by what they felt was suspicious behavior.
