has gloss	eng: Genickschussanlage (German for "neck shooting facility") is the official name of a facility used for surprise executions in Nazi Germany. The victim was placed, under a pretext, in a position where a shot could be fired into the back of his/her neck from the neighbouring room. For that purpose, the facilities were partly disguised as height measuring devices or medicinal instruments. The facilities are mostly known from concentration camps, where they were not only used to carry out official death sentences, but also to carry out inconspicuous murder of larger groups of victims.

Das Opfer wird dabei unter einem Vorwand so platziert, dass aus dem Nachbarraum ein Schuss in sein Genick abgegeben werden kann. Teilweise sind Genickschussanlagen dabei als an der Wand angebrachte Messlatten oder medizinische Instrumente getarnt. Bekannt sind derartige Anlagen vor allem aus Konzentrationslagern, wobei die Anlagen nicht zur Vollstreckung offizieller Todesurteile, sondern der unauffälligen Ermordung großer Opfergruppen dienten.

Sous prétexte de mesurer sa taille dans le cadre dun examen médical, la victime était placée le long d'une toise dans lequel était percé un orifice permettant de lui tirer une balle dans la nuque depuis une pièce voisine. La majorité de ces installations ont été aménagées dans des camps de concentration où elles servaient à exécuter des peines de mort officielles, mais également de mettre à mort discrètement un grand nombre de personnes.
