has gloss	eng: Gwalpara block is one of the administrative divisions of Madhepura district, Bihar state, India. The block has a population (2001 census) of 95,138. The block headquarters are located at a distance of 23 km from the district headquarters, namely, at Madhepura. At the gwalpara there is a renowned high school and middle school named Madhuram Rajkiya Krit Uchh Vidyalaya and Madhuram Rajkiya krit Mafhya vidyalaya. Both of these schools have produced many engineers, managers and much more. Gwalpara also has a big market where the people of different villages like pirnagar, jhanjhari, sharshandi, shahpur, and Nauhar daily come to purchase useful things, clothes and vegetables etc.
