has gloss	eng: Half Acre Beer Company was started in 2006 by Gabriel Magliaro. It opened originally as a Chicago-based beer business with its office located in Chicagos meat packing district. The recipes for the beers were developed in Chicago and the beer was then brewed at Sand Creek Brewery in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. It is not uncommon for beer companies to contract out their brewing. In fact, about 30 percent of Sand Creeks business is from contract brewing.
