Commissioned in 1989 by Family and Children’s Service in Nashville, TN, the one act was intended to tour to middle and high schools. Written in two parts, the first part tells the story of four young friends and their decision to drink alcohol at a party. The second part of the play is a question and answer session with the audience where the actors stay in character and provoke discussion. As of 2008, the play has been performed to over 100,000 students as part of the Plays for Living program. |
