has gloss	eng: Dr Ian Reid is an Australian educator who specialises in Education Policy, Quality Assurance and Online Education. He also has a background in mathematics education. He is currently the Manager: Educational Services at the International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management (ICE WaRM) where he manages nested Masters programmes for five Universities and a range of educational programmes. Prior to this appointment he was Manager of Research and Education at the Joanna Briggs Institute. Before this appointment, he was Associate Director of the Flexible Learning Centre (Online Education) at the University of South Australia. He was responsible for development of the online teaching and learning environment across the University, UniSAnet (http://www.unisanet.unisa.edu.au ). Ian’s background is in education at the secondary and tertiary level and has worked in web based education since 1997.
