has gloss	eng: Jade oil is used to apply a resin coating to give a moderate amount of surface protection to metals. It displaces humidity from the metal's surface and is used as an undercoat prior to coating with metal lacquer. It is ideal to fix colour after the metal has undergone pre-treatment with an antiquing solution like Haemaltite in the case of ferrous metals, or Tourmaline in the cases of copper, bronze and brass.
