has gloss	eng: The Joint Expeditionary Forensics Facilities (JEFF) are mobile biometric laboratories being developed by the United States Navy. They are expected to be deployed in Iraq early in 2008. They will be used to collect biometric data such as fingerprints and iris scans from people encountered by United States military personnel. The data can be sent by satellite link to a biometric data base in West Virginia where it will be compared to information collected previously in order to identify insurgents.
