Dabei treten aufreizend bekleidete Frauen oder Männer auf einer Bühne oder einem Tresen nahe beim Publikum auf. Die tanzende Person konzentriert ihre Darbietung dabei häufig auf einen Gast oder eine kleine Gruppe zahlender Gäste. Der Tänzer bietet in der Regel zunächst eine Bühnenshow für die Allgemeinheit. Der einzelne Gast hat dabei die Möglichkeit, über das Zustecken von sogenannten Tips (engl. Trinkgeld) in Form von Geldscheinen oder in dem Club verwendeten „House Dollars“ seine erotischen Vorlieben deutlich zu machen und einen semi-persönlichen Tanz für sich selbst und seine eventuellen Begleiter zu erwerben. Außerhalb der Berührungen, die notwendig sind, die Tips beispielsweise an der Wäsche des Tänzers zu befestigen, ist körperlicher Kontakt durch den Gast meist nicht gestattet. |
