has glosseng: The M1867 Russian Krnka was a breachloader conversion of the muzzle-loading Model 1857 Six Line rifle musket, similar to the contemporary Snider-Enfield and Tatabatiere conversions. Conversions were carried out at the Tula armoy (TOZ). It was chambered for a 15mm cartridge. The M1867 was produced in both Infantry Rifle and Cavalry Rifle versions. Soon it was replaced by Berdan rifle, though it was in service simultaneously with it. It took part in Russo-Turkish war (1877-1878).
