has gloss	eng: RodMaker Magazine was founded in 1998 by Tom Kirkman. It was a continuation of his involvement in the custom rod building industry. With a circulation of 15,000, the magazine's mandate is to further the craft of custom fishing rod building by continually introducing new ideas, techniques and methods. Most of the developments and cutting edge techniques introduced to the custom building craft in the past decade and a half have come from the pages of RodMaker Magazine.
