has gloss	eng: Category Safety statement is the name given to a document that outlines how a company or organisation manages their health and safety. The term is used in the Republic of Ireland and is based upon the legal requirement set out in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005 although it was also a requirement in the original (but now revoked) Act of 1989. The requirement to have a written safety statement is outlined in Section 20 of the above Act. This outlines the legal requirement for all employers to produce a written plan to protect:
