He has competed in four NASCAR Winston Cup Series (now Sprint Cup Series) races, all at Sears Point Raceway (now Infineon Raceway), most recently in 1996. Many of his starts in NASCARs highest levels have been on the West Coast of the United States (Infineon, Phoenix) and on road courses (Watkins Glen). competing against Ron Hornaday and Kevin Harvick. Les first competed in 1951 on an Aspen, Colorado street course with his wife as the passenger. |
