has gloss	eng: Suspension polymerization (also known as pearl polymerization, bead polymerization and granular polymerization) is a polymerization process that uses mechanical agitation to mix the monomer or mixture of monomers in a liquid phase such as water, polymerizing the monomer droplets while they are dispersed by continuous agitation. This process is used in the production of most PVC, a widely used plastic, as well as Sodium polyacrylate, a superabsorbent polymer used in disposable diapers.

has gloss	deu: Bei der Suspensionspolymerisation wird das in Wasser unlösliche Monomer in Wasser suspendiert. Es wird ein Initiator verwendet, der bevorzugt im Monomer löslich ist. Die Reaktion findet dann in den Monomertröpfchen statt. Als Produkt erhält man meist Perlen, daher ist auch der Begriff "Perlpolymerisation" in Gebrauch.

has gloss	jpn: 懸濁重合（けんだくじゅうごう、suspension polymerization）とは、モノマーと溶媒の水とを機械的に撹拌し、懸濁させて行う重合方法である。小さな粒状のきれいなポリマーが生成することからビーズ重合（bead polymerization）、粒状重合（granular polymerization）パール重合（pearl polymerization）とも呼ばれる。ポリアクリル酸塩などの吸水性ポリマーの合成に使われる。
