It features scholarly essays intended engineers, historians, and practitioners of many other disciplines. In addition to the articles, each issue includes an extensive collection of reviews of books and museum exhibitions. Occasionally, the journal publishes thematic issues. Technology and Culture has had three editors-in-chief: Dr. Melvin Kranzberg (1959-1981), Dr. Robert C. Post (1982-1995), and currently Dr. John M. Staudenmaier, S.J., of The University of Detroit Mercy. The managing editor is Dr. David Lucsko, the senior associate editor is Joseph M. Schultz, and the book review editor is Robert C. Post.
