The song was only performed live during his 1966 World Tour, as the first song during the second set which was known as the "Electric" half of the concerts. The song was written during the Blonde on Blonde sessions, but was not included on the final LP. Since the song was never released, it was heavily bootlegged for thirty-two years until it was officially released in 1998 on the The Bootleg Series Vol. 4: Bob Dylan Live 1966, The "Royal Albert Hall" Concert.
