has gloss	eng: The Local Church is one of several groups which arose out of the Plymouth Brethren tradition. It descends from the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. Watchman Nee was originally with the Raven/Taylor brethren, but left that to begin his own version of a "true" assembly. He died a prisoner in communist China in 1952. This fellowship tends to be a mixture of Ravenism and Pentecostalism.
