has glosseng: The Polyamorous Affair are an electronic band based in Los Angeles consisting of producer/songwriter Eddie Chacon and Sissy Sainte-Marie. They self-released their first album in 2008 was critically acclaimed and they were immediately signed to Manimal Vinyl (Bat for Lashes, Fur and Gold) in early 2009. Their debut Manimal release, The Polyamorous Affair, Bolshevik Disco was critically acclaimed by NME, XLR8R, Dazed & Confused (magazine), Big Shot, AU and Flux magazines. Their music has been featured on Ugly Betty, Dexter and NCIS Los Angeles. They have also recorded "Putting out Fire", the theme from Cat People for the 2010 David Bowie Tribute record which also features Duran Duran, Devendra Banhart, and Carla Bruni.
