| has gloss | eng: The Bickerton, also called the Bickerton Portable, was a portable, folding aluminium bicycle designed by Harry Bickerton and manufactured in the UK between 1971 and 1991. It was the first genuinely portable folding bicycle. The bicycle had no weldings and was entirely made of aluminium profiles. Its riding properties were poor, partly as the aluminium parts could never be properly arrested in their positions. In its time it was probably one of the best folding bikes, though. And certainly the lightest. |
