| has gloss | heb: עיראק סווידאן (בערבית عراق سويدان) היה כפר ערבי בשפלה הדרומית, כ-11 קילומטרים ממזרח למגדל (היום אשקלון), בסמוך לכביש פאלוגה - מג'דל (היום כביש 35 בקטע מקריית גת לאשקלון), בגובה כ-100 מטר מעל פני הים. הכפר היה שייך לנפת עזה במחוז עזה (1945), שטחי אדמותיו היו 7,529 דונם ובשנת 1945 מנה 660 נפשות . בסמוך אליו הייתה מצודת משטרה בריטית שנקראה על שמו משטרת עיראק סווידאן, וידועה כיום כמצודת יואב. |
