has gloss	eng: Packstation is a service run by DHL Parcel Germany, a business unit of Deutsche Post's Mail division, in Germany. It provides automated booths for self-service collection of parcels and oversize letters as well as self-service dispatch of parcels 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Packstation started as a pilot project in 2001 and was quickly expanded. By 2007 there were already 900 Packstation automats in Germany. Only ordinary parcels and letters delivered by Deutsche Post can be delivered to Packstation automats. Further, Deutsche Post allows its subsidiary DHL Express Germany to insert a limited number of express parcels.

has gloss	deu: Eine Packstation ist ein Paketautomat von DHL, der Paket- und Expressdiensttochter der Deutschen Post AG. Derzeit gibt es bundesweit etwa 2500 Automaten (Stand: November 2009), an denen Kunden ihre Pakete, Päckchen, Großbriefe, Maxibriefe, Bücher- und Warensendungen abholen sowie Päckchen und Pakete selber einliefern können. Die Automaten stehen rund um die Uhr zur Verfügung. Sendungen können jedoch nur an einer Packstation abgeholt oder verschickt werden, wenn die Zustellung über die Deutsche Post/DHL (mit Ausnahme von DHL-Express-Sendungen aus dem Ausland) erfolgt. Hersteller der Packstation ist der österreichische Hersteller KEBA.
